What it is
Yaco Progress Bar runs a server your AI assistant can connect to, using the open protocol Claude and ChatGPT speak. Once authorised, the assistant sees your configuration as it is, and can change it: “raise the free shipping tier to sixty for Germany”, “add a ten percent tier above the gift”, “which products would make the next tier?”.
What it does before it changes anything
The assistant works on the same rules as the admin: a backup of the configuration can be taken first and restored later, every change is logged, and the discovery tools it uses to find products, collections and segments are read-only. It has no access to support functions.

How to connect it
- In the app, open AI Connect and copy the server address.
- In Claude or ChatGPT, add it as a connector.
- Authorise it with your Shopify account when asked: the connection is yours, and you can revoke it from the same page.
- Ask.

- Read the whole configuration: tiers, bars, designs, targeting.
- Create, edit and archive tiers; set thresholds per market.
- Set up a gift or a discount, with the products and variants it finds in your catalogue.
- Suggest thresholds from your real order history.
- Read the bar’s statistics and your average order value.

Which assistants work?
Any assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol with remote servers: Claude and ChatGPT today, and the tools built on them.
Can it break my store?
It changes the progress bar configuration, nothing else: no theme file, no product, no order. Take a backup first if you want a point to go back to; the assistant can do it for you.
Does it see my customers’ data?
It reads your configuration and aggregated statistics. Customer segments and tags appear by name, as targeting options, not as customer lists.
