The bar in your theme’s cart drawer.

Yaco Progress Bar works on any Online Store 2.0 theme as an app embed. It shows in the cart page, the cart drawer and the product page, and refreshes the drawer itself on the themes it knows.

Where the bar shows

In the cart page and the cart drawer of your theme, on the product page, and in the checkout on Shopify Plus. The placements are chosen in the app; the theme editor lets you place the bar exactly where you want it in a section.

What “knowing the drawer” means

When a gift enters or leaves the cart, the drawer has to redraw. On the themes listed below, the bar refreshes the drawer natively, without a page reload. On any other theme, the bar still shows; the drawer refresh follows the theme’s own behaviour.

The bar does not show in my cart drawer

Check three things: the app embed is switched on in the theme editor, the bar has a placement for the drawer in the app, and the theme’s drawer is the one the app detected. If it still does not show, write to support with the name of your theme: it is what the studio reads first.

Place the bar in the theme editor

In the app, open Theme integration: it detects your theme and the app embed state.
Click Place progress bar: the theme editor opens on the cart drawer.
Drag the block where you want it, save.

Questions merchants ask

Does it work with a theme that is not listed?

Yes, on any Online Store 2.0 theme: the bar is an app embed. Only the native drawer refresh is specific to the listed themes.

Can I add it to a page other than the cart?

Yes: the product page, and any section the theme editor lets you place a block in.

Does it slow the store down?

The bar is one small script, loaded after the page. The demo on this site runs the same script you would install.
